Troop 11 has been sponsored by St. Stephens Methodist Church in Marblehead Massachusetts since 1955.
Troop 11 meets on Wednesday evenings when school is in session, from 7:30pm to 8:45pm.
Troop 11 has a very active outdoor program with 10 weekend camping trips each year as well as day trips and a week of Summer Camp each year and High Adventure long term camping trips every two years. Troop 11 has sponsored high adventure trips to Philmont Scout Ranch in the Rocky Mountains of New Mexico (1992, 1997, 2002, 2006, 2009, 2012, 2015, 2017), Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Denali National Park in Alaska (1995, 2004, 2011), BSA's Florida Adventure Base in the Florida Keys (1999), Idaho's Sawtooth National Wilderness (2001) and Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks in Utah (2008), and Colorado in 2014.
Troop 11 also has a strong advancement program; teaching scouts the basic scout skills, developing youth leadership skills, sponsoring merit badges and sponsoring community service projects. We have been honored to elevate 93 young men to the rank of Eagle scout over these past 63 years.
